Description

Come together with other women throughout the Diocese to reflect on the Lenten season as a journey of hope.

Our presenter, Beth Mahoney, has been involved in church ministry and Catholic Education for over 30 years. She has experience on the local, national and international levels when it comes to giving presentations, retreats, creating curriculums, teaching and event planning. She enjoys organizing major events, such as World Youth Days, youth rallies and conferences. Beth is the president of the Fall River Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and serves as Education Commission Chair for the National Council of Catholic Women. She serves as the treasurer for St. Andrew the Apostle Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society. Beth is a professional member of the MSA (Mariological Society of America).

In 2011, Beth was named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women for her demonstration of excellence in her profession. In 2012, Beth was recognized by the International Association of Professional Women for her outstanding achievement within her profession, and received the Top Hat Award for her dedicated service within the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

She has authored numerous articles including one on Promoting Vocations within the Family for Vision Magazine and has published with Ave Maria Press. Beth is vice principal at Holy Family Holy Name School in New Bedford. She has a passion to bring the Word of God alive with her students, parents and staff.
